Ark
North Sydney
Ark is a $100m commercial development prominently located in North Sydney’s CBD. It is integrated into the heritage precinct with expansive views across the harbour, city and the mountains.
The 19 storey building will deliver approximately 28,500sqm of A-grade contemporary office accommodation with a 5-star ABGR and a 6-star Greenstar rating. An ‘art wall’ stretching up Mount Street from the public forecourt will provide a link between the building and the rich history of the area.
Incorporated into the Ark design are a number of ESD principles, with the focus on energy efficiency, technological advancement and green credentials.
Cadence Australia has been engaged to provide project management services for the construction phase of the project.

Workplace6
Pyrmont
Located in the inner city suburb of Pyrmont on a waterfront parcel of land known as Darling Island, Workplace6 is set to become Sydney's first 6 Star Green Star building as certified under the Green Building Council of Australia Rating. The project represents the third stage of the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority's Darling Island Master Plan.
This six storey commercial office building will provide approximately 18,000 square meters of office space with a typical floor plate area of 3,500 m2, putting it amongst the largest available in the Sydney Commercial sector. Construction of the building will incorporate a number of Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) elements to promote natural light, clean air, water conservation, reduced emissions and energy efficiency. Along with a 6 Star Green Star rating, a 5 Star Australian Building Greenhouse Rating (ABGR) is also targeted.
Workplace6 is a joint development venture between The GPT Group and Citta Property Group. Cadence Australia worked in conjunction with The Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority in converting the development from Masterplan concept to development consent. Cadence Australia is now providing Project Management services to The GPT Group who will take ownership of the building upon completion. The GPT Group's aim is to provide tenants with commercial office space incorporating key ESD initiatives and also provide tenants with the opportunity to incorporate Corporate Social Responsibility into their work culture.

163 Castlereagh Street

The 163 Castlereagh Street development is a $220m Sydney CBD project for John Boyd Properties involving the consolidation of 5 existing properties and design and construction of a 43-level premium grade office tower.
The project will deliver 60,000m2 of premium office space to the CBD with an ABGR rating of 5 and 5-star Green Star Rating and provide a through – site link with retail and open space areas between Pitt and Castlereagh Streets.
Cadence Australia have been engaged to provide project management services for the delivery of the design and tender phases of the project. Cadence Australia's role included client and stakeholder liaison and engaging and managing the consultant teams.

545 Queen Street
Brisbane
The General Property Trust (GPT) redeveloped a recently acquired B-Grade commercial building in Brisbane CBD to create an A-Grade commercial building with 4.5 star ABGR and 4 star Green Star Rating.
The building's refurbishment extended the floor plates from 6,200sqm to 13,200sqm over ten levels, including 420sqm of new ground floor retail and an additional 101 car spaces. There is now a mix of large and medium sized floor plates drawing on natural light with both CBD and Brisbane River views.
As the Owner's Representative, Cadence Australia was responsible for ensuring all GPT's objectives were satisfactorily achieved in a timely manner, in particular, providing GPT with specific design and construction advice.

Iconic CBD building undergoing a major refurbishment programme comprising 22,000m² of commercial offices and a 5,000m² retail and food court podium.
Cadence Australia has been appointed by Colonial First State Property to provide a comprehensive range of project management services, from concept design through to design development, construction and handover.
The project involves extensive demolition and structural works to the podium levels to accommodate the new retail and food court areas.
The building is to remain partially tenanted during the refurbishment process resulting in a range of complex staging and programming requirements for the project. Cadence Australia is working closely with Colonial First State Property, the building manager and tenants to deliver a positive outcome for all stakeholders.
